Wake, Flood, Destination is a series of site-specific installations along the Erie Canal in Syracuse, transforming the canal’s history and essence into visual art. The project reflects the traces of moving boats (Wake), the canal’s relationship with flooding (Flood), and the destinations and travel times along its route (Destination). Through light, projection, and water, these installations reimagine the Erie Canal's legacy, creating an immersive dialogue between past and present.
